Fun at Fifis

Continuing with my French theme of the moment I was invited to the gorgeously frou frou Fifi Chachnil boutique in Knightsbridge  last Thursday to view the latest work of the artist Charles Serruya and the launch of a Swimwear collection by his muse
Fifi Chachnil of course!

The fabulous Meyer dancers (inspired by the Russ Meyer films)raised the heat with their cute Sixties boogieing and together with the peach champagne the rain outside was forgotten.

Charles Serruya is a master of théâtre d'ombres - the art of shadow play and has exhibited globally through mediums of photography, live performance, painting, illustration, sculpture and a series of short films. This is the first time he has exhibited in London. This group of work "Coeur à Coeur" is a beautiful collection of sculptures created from a single length of fine gold coated thread.

'Du Rififi au Crazy' is the new Swimwear Collection Fifi has created inspired by the Crazy Horse Paris dancers. As you would expect the collection showcases her girly vintage style in a variety of shapes that would flatter all figures

Check Mizuhos cool tights out!

Hmmm one too many peach champagnes me thinks

Nice wheels

'Du Rififi au Crazy' Swimwear

Go see Charles's work and treat yourself to some lingerie or swimwear too

The exhibition runs until September 28th 2012
at
Fifi Chachnil, 48 Beauchamp Place, SW3 1NX London
